BABY BOTTLE PROGRAM
WHAT IS NEW LIFE PREGNANCY RESOURCE
AND WHAT IS THE BABY BOTTLE PROGRAM?
The New Life
Pregnancy Resource Center is a 501C(3) non-profit, Christ-centered organization
that helps women and families in our community who find themselves in a crisis
pregnancy or in need of essential items for their young children. First and foremost, we are committed to
sharing the love of Christ to these clients, and we serve them free of charge
by enrolling them in one of two programs:
The New Shoots program for first-time pregnant women and women with
babies under 1 year of age, and the Deep Roots program for parents of young
HOW DO YOU RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT THESE
We receive funding
for providing these services through church-sponsored, individual donations and
fundraisers. We also have a monthly,
ongoing fundraiser called the Baby
Bottle Fundraising Drive.
WHAT IS THE BABY BOTTLE PROGRAM?
Each month a
different church that has signed up for one month a year receives empty baby
bottles with information about New Life.
Individuals then take the baby bottles home and fill them with whatever
spare change, bills or checks they feel let to place in the bottle, and then
bring it back to the church.
FOR WHAT PURPOSE WILL THESE BABY BOTTLE
DONATIONS BE USED?
provide the opportunity for women and families (including grandparents, foster
parents or anyone having legal custody) to earn points towards these items
(diapers, wipes, clothing, furniture, etc.).
They earn points through learning from our educational programs,
attending church or Bible study, attending support groups or independent
counseling, and volunteering at the center.
While filling just one baby bottle from our center with loose change may
not seem like much, when one small baby bottle is added to a hundred or more
other bottles, that one small baby bottle now holds the power not only to keep
the doors of our center open, it also holds the power to change and even save
HOW CAN YOUR CHURCH PROVIDE HELP IN THIS
Your church can further
the work of spreading the Good News to these individuals and families by
participating in our Baby Bottle Fundraising Drive, and we are prayerfully
requesting that your church consider hosting one month a year. Please contact us or stop in to see our
center and talk with us! We are open
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10-4 p.m.
